Are your products animal friendly?
Yes.
Our products are vegetarian and contain no animal fats at all. We do use Certified Tussah Noir silk in our soaps, and we verify that the broken & empty silk cocoons were harvested in the wild. It is more expensive and time-consuming to verify the source of our products, but it is worth it.
Is your soap natural?
Our soaps are made from 100% natural vegetable oils. We do not add preservatives to our soaps or shea butters. We use very fresh oils, treat them very gently and never expose them to heat, thereby reducing the need for additional preservatives.
Many of our soaps are scented with pure essential oils and natural colorants, and others use high-quality skin-safe fragrance oils and colors. We believe in full disclosure, so you will find an ingredient listing for every product.
